O holandês Senna Van Walstijn venceu a WSK Champions Cup na KZ2, o italiano Danny Carenini na OK, o peruano Andres Cardenas na OKJ, o espanhol Christian Costya na MINI.

Depois de uma véspera caracterizada por um frio intenso, o sol voltou a brilhar em Lonato para a fase final do WSK Champions Cup, e o bom tempo colocou todos nas melhores condições para se expressarem no topo da sua competitividade. Mais uma vez excelente participação neste evento da WSK Promotion que abriu a temporada 2022 com a presença de mais de 170 pilotos de 36 nacionalidades nas categorias KZ2, OK, OKJ e MINI.

As pré-finais

KZ2: O holandês Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart / Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) confirmou a vitória na pré-final KZ2 após uma boa recuperação. Por outro lado, o outro protagonista e seu companheiro de equipe, o francês Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing), ficou para trás por uma saída de pista na primeira volta da prova.

OK: O russo Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) venceu na OK à frente de Danny Carenini (Team Driver/KR-Iame) no sprint, enquanto o italiano Sebastiano Pavan, companheiro de equipa de Carenini e protagonista nas baterias classificatórias, foi forçado a abandonar.

OKJ: Na OK-Junior é novamente o russo Dmitry Matveev (Koski Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) que se confirma como o dominante da categoria, na pré-final Matveev precedeu o piloto de Singapura Tiziano Monza (DPK/KR-Iame) e o inglês Nathan Tye (Sodikart / Sodikart-TM Racing).

MINI: Na MINI, devido ao grande número de competidores, foram realizadas duas Pré-finais. Na Pré-final-A o piloto checo Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) ainda era dominante, enquanto na Pré-final-B, na última volta, foi o sueco Scott Kin Lindblom (Gamoto/EKS-TM Racing) que levou a melhor sobre o espanhol Christian Costya (Parolin Motorsport / Parolin-TM Racing).

Na KZ2 domina o holandês Senna Van Walstijn

 

Na KZ2 o holandês Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) revelou-se o governante do fim-de-semana, mesmo que na final tenha sido obrigado a deixar temporariamente a liderança para o francês Arthur Carbonnel (CBP Sport/Sodikart-TM Corrida). Mas nas últimas voltas Van Walstijn voltou à liderança da corrida e cruzou a meta na primeira posição, adiante de seu companheiro de equipe, o francês Emilien Denner (Sodikart / Sodikart-TM Racing),  autor de uma bela retomada de 10 posições. Carbonnel terminou em terceiro. A quarta posição ficou para David Trefilov (Maranello SRP / Maranello-TM Racing) que terminou na frente de Matteo Zanchi (Zanchi Motorsport / BirelArt / TM Racing).

Na OK prevalece o italiano Danny Carenini

 


Na categoria OK a vitória não escapou a Danny Carenini (Team Driver / KR-Iame-LeCont), mesmo depois de ter caído para a terceira posição nas primeiras voltas da corrida. Tendo recuperado a liderança da Final, Carenini não teve problemas em terminar com a vitória, à frente do russo Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) e do inglês Coskun Irfan (Shamick Europe/Parolin-Iame). Em quarto lugar chegou o alemão Felix Arnold (CV Perfomance/KR-Iame) e em quinto o italiano Francesco Marenghi (DPK Racing/KR-Iame). Destaque para a excelente recuperação do outro italiano Sebastiano Pavan (Team Driver / KR-Iame), que terminou em sexto depois de largar da última posição.

 

 

 

 

Na OKJ o peruano Andrés Cárdenas surpreende

 

 

A final dao OK-Junior foi surpreendente, em qual o peruano Andrés Cárdenas (Energy Corse / Energy-TM Racing-Vega) conseguiu vencer, após o russo Dmitry Matveev (Koski Motorsport / Tony Kart-Vortex) ter dominado a categoria até a Pré-final. Na Final Matveev perdeu imediatamente posições até ser forçado a abandonar, enquanto Cardenas alcançou o sucesso à frente do chinês Zhenrui Chi (Beyond Racing Team / KR-TM Racing), que no sprint precedeu o inglês Nathan Tye (Sodikart / Sodikart-TM Racing) ). Em quarto ficou o brasileiro Miguel Costa (DPK Racing/KR-Iame) e em quinto completou o israelense Guy Elbag (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex).

 

 

 

A vitória na Final da MINI foi para o espanhol Christian Costya

 

 

Após uma animada troca de posições à frente da Final da categoria MINI, o espanhol Christian Costya (Parolin Motorsport / Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) levou a melhor nas etapas finais, terminando com a vitória à frente do tcheco Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace / Parolin -Iame) que havia dominado as ações na qualificação e nas baterias. O holandês Dean Hoogendoorn (Alonso Kart by Kidix/Alonso-Iame) conquistou o pódio, enquanto o belga Dries Van Langendonck (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) e o austríaco Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing/EKS-TM Racing) ficaram, respectivamente, com as quarta e quinta colocações finais.

Internazionale - La WSK Champions Cup apre la stagione con un ottimo spettacolo

Si aggiudicano la WSK Champions Cup in KZ2 l’olandese Senna Van Walstijn, nella OK l’italiano Danny Carenini, nella OKJ il peruviano Andres Cardenas, nella MINI lo spagnolo Christian Costoya.

Dopo una vigilia caratterizzata dal freddo intenso, a Lonato è tornato a splendere il sole per la fase finale della WSK Champions Cup, e il bel tempo ha messo tutti nelle migliori condizioni per esprimersi al massimo della competitività. Ottima ancora una volta la partecipazione in questo evento by WSK Promotion che ha aperto la stagione 2022 con una presenza di oltre 170 piloti di 36 nazionalità nelle categorie KZ2, OK, OKJ e MINI.

Le Prefinali


KZ2. L’olandese Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) si è confermato vincente nella Prefinale di KZ2 dopo un bel recupero. Indietro invece l’altro protagonista e suo compagno di squadra, il francese Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing), per una uscita di pista nel primo giro di gara.

OK. Il russo Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) si è imposto nella OK precedendo in volata Danny Carenini (Team Driver/KR-Iame), mentre l’italiano Sebastiano Pavan, compagno di squadra di Carenini e protagonista nelle manches, è stato costretto al ritiro.

MINI. Nella MINI, per l’alto numero di concorrenti, si sono disputate due Prefinali. Nella Prefinale-A si è rivelato ancora dominatore il pilota ceco Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega), mentre nella Prefinale-B all’ultimo giro è stato lo svedese Scott Kin Lindblom (Gamoto/EKS-TM Racing) ad avere la meglio sullo spagnolo Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing).

In KZ2 l’olandese Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) si rivela dominatore del weekend, anche se in finale è costretto a lasciare momentaneamente la leadership al francese Arthur Carbonnel (CBP Sport/Sodikart-TM Racing). Negli ultimi giri Van Walstijn torna al comando della gara e taglia il traguardo in prima posizione davanti al suo compagno di squadra, il francese Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing). autore di una rimonta di 10 posizioni. Carbonnel termina terzo. Quarta posizione per David Trefilov (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM Racing) che conclude davanti a Matteo Zanchi (Zanchi Motorsport/BirelArt/TM Racing).

Nella OK la vittoria non sfugge a Danny Carenini (Team Driver/KR-Iame-LeCont) dopo essere scivolato in terza posizione nei primi giri di gara. Ripreso il comando della Finale, Carenini non ha problemi a concludere con la vittoria davanti al russo Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) e all’inglese Coskun Irfan (Shamick Europe/Parolin-Iame). In quarta posizione si piazza il tedesco Felix Arnold (CV Perfomance/KR-Iame), quinto l’italiano Francesco Marenghi (DPK Racing/KR-Iame). Ottima rimonta dell’altro italiano Sebastiano Pavan (Team Driver/KR-Iame) terminato sesto dopo essere partito dall’ultima posizione.

Sorprendente la finale della OK-Junior, dove riesce a vincere il peruviano Andres Cardenas (Energy Corse/Energy-TM Racing-Vega) dopo che il russo Dmitry Matveev (Koski Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex) aveva dominato fino alla prefinale. In finale Matveev perde subito posizioni fino ad essere costretto al ritiro, mentre Cardenas raggiunge il successo davanti al cinese Zhenrui Chi (Beyond Racing Team/KR-TM Racing) che in volata precede l’inglese Nathan Tye (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing). Quarto si piazza il brasiliano Miguel Costa (DPK Racing/KR-Iame), quinto l’israeliano Guy Elbag (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex).

 

 

 

La Finale della MINI va allo spagnolo Christian Costoya.

 

 

Dopo un vivace scambio di posizioni in testa alla Finale della MINI, a prendere il sopravvento nelle ultime battute è lo spagnolo Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) che conclude con la vittoria davanti al ceco Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) che aveva dominato in prova e nelle manches. Conquista il podio l’olandese Dean Hoogendoorn (Alonso Kart by Kidix/Alonso-Iame), mentre in quarta e quinta posizione terminano il belga Dries Van Langendonck (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) e l’austriaco Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing/EKS-TM Racing).

International - The WSK Champions Cup kicks off the season With a great spectacle

The WSK Champions Cup went to the Dutch Senna Van Walstijn in KZ2, to the Italian Danny Carenini in OK, the Peruvian Andres Cardenas in OKJ and the Spaniard Christian Costoya in MINI.

After an eve characterized by intensely cold temperatures, the sun came out for the final stages of the WSK Champions Cup in Lonato and the nice weather allowed all the drivers to show their competitiveness. The participation to this event that opened WSK Promotion’s 2022 season has been once again great with more than 170 drivers from 36 different countries on track in KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI.

The Prefinals.


KZ2. The Dutch driver Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) kept his momentum winning the Prefinal of KZ2 at the end of a good recovery. The other protagonist, his teammate from France Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing), ended to the back instead as he went off during the first lap.

OK. The Russian Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) won OK proceeding Danny Carenini (Team Driver/KR-Iame) at the sprint to the line, while the Italian Sebastiano Pavan – who is Carenini’s teammate and has been the protagonist of the heats – had to retire from the Prefinal.

OKJ. In OK-Junior the Russian Dmitry Matveev (Koski Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) confirmed to be on top of this category. In the Prefinal he led Singapore’s driver Tiziano Monza (DPK/KR-Iame) and the Brit Nathan Tye (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing).

MINI. Two Prefinals took place in MINI due to the high number of entered drivers. Prefinal-A was dominated by the Czech driver Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega), while the Swede Scott Kin Lindblom (Gamoto/EKS-TM Racing) had the best of the Spaniard Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) at the last lap of Prefinal-B.

The Dutch driver Senna Van Walstijn dominates KZ2.


In KZ2 the Dutch Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing-Vega) dominated the weekend even though he had to temporarily concede the lead of the Final to the French driver Arthur Carbonnel (CBP Sport/Sodikart-TM Racing). Van Walstijn regained the lead of the race in the closing laps and crossed the finish line ahead of his teammate from France Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing), who recovered a stunning 10 places. Carbonnel ended his effort in P3. The fourth place went to David Trefilov (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM Racing) instead, who led Matteo Zanchi (Zanchi Motorsport/BirelArt/TM Racing).

 

 

OK Victory to the Italian Danny Carenini.

 

 

Danny Carenini (Team Driver/KR-Iame-LeCont) did not miss the chance to take the win in OK despite slipping down to P3 early on. Back on top of the Final, Carenini did not struggle much to take the win leading the Russian Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) and the Brit Coskun Irfan (Shamick Europe/Parolin-Iame). The fourth place went to the German Felix Arnold (CV Perfomance/KR-Iame) and the fifth to the Italian Francesco Marenghi (DPK Racing/KR-Iame). The Italian Sebastiano Pavan (Team Driver/KR-Iame) completed a great recovery ending sixth from the last spot on the starting grid.

 

 

 

 

Peru’s Andres Cardenas surprises OKJ.

 


The Final of OK-Junior has been surprising and the final win went to the Peruvian Andres Cardenas (Energy Corse/Energy-TM Racing-Vega) after the domination of the Russian Dmitry Matveev (Koski Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex) until the Prefinal. In the Final Matveev lost several places before being forced to retire, while Cardenas claimed the victory leading the Chinese Zhenrui Chi (Beyond Racing Team/KR-TM Racing), who proceeded  the Brit Nathan Tye (Sodikart/Sodikart-TM Racing). The fourth place went to the Brazilian Miguel Costa (DPK Racing/KR-Iame), the fifth to the Israeli Guy Elbag (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex).

 

 

 

The Final of MINI won by the Spaniard Christian Costoya.

 

At the end of a lively position exchange on the top of the MINI’s Final, the Spanish driver Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) had the upper hand in the closing stages and secured the win from the Czech Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), who dominated in qualifying practice and heats. The third step of the podium went to the Dutch Dean Hoogendoorn (Alonso Kart by Kidix/Alonso-Iame), while the fourth and fifth place went to the Belgian Dries Van Langendonck (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) and the Austrian Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing/EKS-TM Racing).
